The experience

The flight lands on time, but then you're standing at baggage claim watching the carousel spin, and your phone is already at 12 percent because you've been texting the hotel about late arrival. This is where a private transfer from Nice airport actually saves you, not just time, but the whole negotiation at the curb. Your driver is already waiting with a name sign when you clear customs, so you walk straight to an air-conditioned car instead of hunting for a cab or figuring out the local bus system after eight hours in the air.

The vehicle itself is the kind of thing you notice: clean, quiet, WiFi that actually works. You can check emails, stream something on the TV if the drive is long enough, and there's bottled water in the cup holder. The driver handles the route. They know Nice, they know the traffic patterns, they know whether to take the Promenade des Anglais or cut through the back streets depending on what time you're arriving. You just sit there and stop being responsible for navigation.

Parking fees are covered, so there's no surprise charge at the end. The car pulls up to your hotel or apartment, and you're done. No tipping negotiation, no meter anxiety, no "is this the right price" moment. It's the kind of small thing that feels huge when you're tired and just want to get to your room.
