The experience

What sets this apart is the privacy: you're not watching a demonstration or sitting in a group. For two hours, you and up to one guest work alone in a dedicated space with a perfume expert who guides you through the essences and helps you build a scent that reflects what you're after. You choose from 100 different notes (florals, woods, spices, citrus), and the expert walks you through how they layer and develop. There's no formula to follow. You're making something that exists nowhere else.

The workshop includes champagne and macarons as you work, a small ritual that slows the afternoon down. When you're done, you leave with a 100 ml bottle of your fragrance in a presentation box, a 10 ml atomizer for travel, and a numbered diploma. That diploma matters: it's your recipe, so you can reorder the exact same fragrance anytime in the future. You also get a €60 voucher to spend in the Molinard boutique on the day of your workshop, which most people use to pick up extras or explore the house's other scents.

The space is fully accessible, with free parking on-site. The guide speaks English or French depending on your preference. You can bring an infant in a stroller, and service animals are welcome. Public transportation is nearby if you prefer not to drive.
