The experience
You start in Paris and the driver takes you straight into the Loire Valley. The route passes through Orléans, the historic city on the Loire River where Joan of Arc led the city's liberation in 1429. You can stop to walk the Gothic cathedral and the charming half-timbered old town, or skip it and head straight to the castles: that choice is yours. The whole day runs between 6 and 11 hours depending on how many châteaux you pick and how long you linger at each one.
Château de Chambord is the largest and most famous: its Renaissance architecture centers on a double-helix staircase attributed to Leonardo da Vinci, and the forested park around it is built for photographs. Château d'Amboise sits above the Loire River with panoramic views down the valley, royal apartments, and the Saint-Hubert chapel where Leonardo da Vinci is buried. Château de Blois showcases five centuries of French architecture in one building, from medieval stone to the Renaissance François I staircase. Château de Cheverny is still lived in by the descendants of its original builders, with luxuriously furnished rooms that show what 17th-century noble life actually looked like. It also inspired Moulinsart, Captain Haddock's home in the Tintin comics. Each castle has its own rhythm and character, so the operator builds your itinerary around whichever ones speak to you.
The driver provides the vehicle, handles navigation and parking, and brings bottled water for the day. You pay castle entrance fees separately at each one as you arrive. Pickup happens at your Paris hotel or a central location you arrange after booking, and the return follows the same route back to the city.

Top questions
Can children come?
Yes. Ticket types: Child (4 to 9 years); Infant (1 to 3 years).
Can I visit castles that aren't on the standard list?
Yes. If a château you want to see isn't among the five main options, message the operator after booking and they'll add it to your custom itinerary.
What's the difference between visiting one castle, two, or three?
You choose how many stops fit your day and energy. One castle lets you spend 3–4 hours exploring it deeply; two castles gives you a morning and afternoon at different sites; three castles means moving between them more frequently but seeing more variety. The driver adjusts the route and timing to match your choice.
Do I have to visit Orléans?
No. Orléans sits on the way to the castles and offers the cathedral and old town, but you can skip it entirely and go straight to the châteaux if you prefer to spend all your time at the estates.
What's included in the price?
Private transportation from Paris, the driver, bottled water, parking fees, and WiFi in the vehicle are included. Castle entrance fees are separate and paid on-site at each château you visit.
