The experience
The day starts with a tasting at a small family-run winery before you get on the bike. From there, you cycle along established bike paths through the Côte de Beaune, moving through charming villages and stopping at different vineyard plots for educational breaks. The e-bikes are electric-assisted, which means the hills and longer stretches are manageable even if you're not a regular cyclist. The guide sets the pace for a small group, so nobody gets left behind or rushed.
Midday brings you to an authentic Burgundy estate for lunch: a spread of local charcuterie and cheese paired with wines from the region. The afternoon continues the wine education at another small winery, where you taste and learn about more of Burgundy's unique flavors. Along the way, the route passes through the Montrachet Grand Cru, one of the world's most celebrated vineyard sites and a UNESCO designation. The minivan transports the group between some stops and handles the return journey, so you're not cycling the whole way back.
You'll need at least a moderate level of fitness for the cycling itself, though the e-assist takes much of the strain. The minimum age is 16. Pickup and drop-off happen in either Beaune or Dijon, depending on which option you choose at checkout. If you're arriving from Paris, the train to Beaune is the practical route.

Is this one for you?Choose the Beaune departure if you're already in the wine region. Choose Dijon if you're arriving by train and want a single pickup point. Either way, the e-bike assist means you can focus on the vineyards and the tastings rather than the physical effort of climbing Burgundy's slopes.
