A 2-hour outdoor escape game set in central Calais where you solve puzzles and visit locations across the city to gather code words and unlock access to a secret platform. Play on your own schedule any day without advance reservation, using a free app on your smartphone to receive clues and track your progress. The game is available in English, French or German.

The experience

Two hours is all you get before the platform closes forever. You'll start in the heart of Calais's historic centre with a scenario loaded onto your phone: a curse has hidden the entrance to a secret underground passage, and it's your job to break the spell. The clock starts the moment you begin, and the city becomes your puzzle board.

Your team visits locations marked on the app and meets the families and servants stationed there. Each encounter gives you clues to solve puzzles and collect four code words. Those words unlock the final code that reveals where the platform is hidden. You'll need to piece together what each family tells you, work through the logic, and move fast: 120 minutes goes quicker than it sounds when you're racing through a city trying to decode a curse.

The game code arrives on your device once you book. Download the free app beforehand so you're ready to start whenever you choose. Photos and videos you capture during the game save directly to your phone, so you keep a record of how you solved it. You pick the language (English, French or German) when you reserve, and there's no guide following you around. It's your team against the clock and the puzzle.
