The experience

What makes this tour different is that there's no fixed itinerary. You tell Stéphane or Jean Luc what you want to do (heavy on wine tastings, none at all, a specific village, a vineyard proposal, Black Forest scenery), and they build the day around it. Both drivers speak fluent English and know the Alsace region and Black Forest well enough to suggest stops or skip them entirely based on what you say. The Tesla itself is part of the experience: a Model S or Model X with WiFi on board, air conditioning, and what the operator calls "crazy Tesla features" that make the drive itself feel like something more than transport.

You're picked up from your hotel or wherever you're staying, and the five hours unfolds however you want it to. If you're planning something special (a marriage proposal in a vineyard, a particular wine route, a day focused on half-timbered villages), they'll help you plan it ahead of time. If you'd rather decide once you're in the car, that works too. The car holds up to five passengers comfortably, so families or small groups travel together without splitting up.

What's the difference between the Tesla Model S and Model X?

Both are luxury electric vehicles with the same amenities and features. The Model X is slightly larger and works well for groups of five. The Model S is more compact. Either one is yours for the day. You can request a preference when you book.
