The experience
You start at the Garden of the Sleeping Giant, where you walk among orchids and tropical plants across the grounds Burr established nearly fifty years ago. From there the tour moves to Viseisei, a chiefly village on the coast where the first Fijians are said to have landed. You have time to wander the seaside village before the group heads into Nadi proper.
The route takes in the largest Hindu temple in the South Pacific, then finishes at the Nadi Market, where the stalls and the faces of the vendors are what the operator calls the draw. All fees and taxes are included in the price.
