The experience
You meet in the shop upstairs, then descend into the cellar where the tasting happens. The guide walks you through how to taste wine and cheese together (what to look for, how the flavours interact, why the order matters) before stepping back to let you work through the three wines and three cheeses at your own speed. Each cheese comes with crackers, pickles, nuts, chutney and charcuterie to build on the flavours.
The cellar is decorated and designed for this, not a storage room repurposed for tastings. Bottled water and the three glasses of wine are included. You bring any dietary needs or allergies to their attention when you book so they can prepare. The experience is adults only, 18 and up.

Is this one for you? This is a private tasting, so you and whoever you book with have the cellar to yourselves and can take as long as you want over each pairing: ideal if you want to talk through what you taste without the pace of a group around you. It suits anyone 18 or older who wants to learn how wine and cheese actually work together, whether you are a couple, a small group of friends or a private party.
