The experience
The driver collects you from Southampton port or a nearby hotel and uses live traffic navigation to route you through the English countryside. You choose between Wilton House (the filming location for Bridgerton, The Crown, and Emma), or Windsor Castle, and the driver waits up to two hours at each stop while your luggage stays in the vehicle. Travel time to Stonehenge is roughly 20 minutes from the port; Wilton House takes about 50 minutes; London itself is up to two and a half hours away. The whole journey, including waiting time at the sites, can take up to eight hours.
This is a self-guided transfer, not a tour with commentary. Admission tickets to Stonehenge and Windsor Castle must be bought in advance from their official websites and brought as printouts. Wilton House admission can be purchased on arrival. The driver will not act as a guide, but each site has its own audio guide available. You'll need to time your ticket purchases carefully: buy Stonehenge tickets about an hour after disembarking, and Windsor Castle tickets roughly four and a half hours after leaving the port, so they align with when you arrive. The service covers drop-off across central London postcodes from Notting Hill to Uxbridge, or to Heathrow Airport and nearby hotels.
A second confirmation arrives 48 hours before pickup, confirming the exact meeting point and time. Bring your ship's disembarkation time and any admission confirmations to the terminal. If you arrive later than expected, the first 30 minutes of waiting time after your scheduled pickup is free. Beyond that, waiting charges are £15 for every 15 minutes, payable in cash to the driver. On Christmas Day, Boxing Day, or New Year's Day, a 50% surcharge applies to waiting charges.
