The experience

You start at Turtle Beach, a 3D projection space where you follow sea turtles from egg to ocean. From there the route moves through cave systems housing spiny lionfish and pufferfish, then into a color-changing jellyfish tank where you pick the light and watch them drift. Before the main tunnel, you descend past blacktip reef sharks swimming overhead in their viewing tank, and spot Octopus Prime hiding in the shipwreck display below.

The glass tunnel is the centerpiece. You walk beneath shoals of fish and watch Ernie, the enormous green sea turtle, glide slowly overhead. Napoleon wrasse with their vibrant blue eyes pass alongside you, and if you time it right you can see divers and SeaTREK guests exploring the tropical ocean tank from inside the tunnel. The tank itself holds sharks, rays, and hundreds of colorful fish, with Ernie often coming to the glass to greet visitors.

After the tunnel, Stingray Bay lets you watch rays move with surprising speed: blue spotted rays and Cal, a rescued baby leopard shark, are regulars here. The Rockpools section is hands-on: experts are on hand while you stroke starfish, tickle sea anemones, and feel crab shells. The visit closes at Conservation Cove, where interactive games let children help baby turtles reach the sea, and a sandbox holds buried beach finds to dig out and identify.
