You’ll dine on four courses inspired by British and French cuisine while London’s most famous sights roll past your table. It’s an experience that blends sightseeing with genuine culinary delight — and leaves you thinking about both long after.
Step-by-step itinerary
Luxury dining tour with London views
- Board custom double decker bus
- Enjoy panoramic city views
- Taste 4-course British-French meal
- Experience fine dining on the move
The Experience
I nearly spilled my water when the double-decker bus started gliding past Big Ben — you don’t expect fine dining to come with roundabouts, you know? The Bustronome’s top deck is all glass, so it’s like eating inside a slow-moving snow globe of London. There was this moment when our server, James (he had the driest sense of humor), handed me a plate of smoked salmon just as we turned toward the Thames. I remember thinking: I’ve never eaten this well while actually moving.
The food surprised me — proper British ingredients but plated with that French touch (the sauce on the lamb, wow). Our guide didn’t hover; he’d just drop in with stories about Greenwich or point out something outside, then vanish before you could ask too many questions. At one point I caught a whiff of fresh coffee just as we passed under those leafy trees near St James’s Park. It felt oddly cozy for such a grand setting.
There were couples celebrating, some friends clinking glasses — and one very serious toddler eyeing my dessert. The whole thing felt relaxed but special, which I guess is rare in central London. If you book the wine pairing (we did), they bring each glass right before the next course, and there’s this quiet little pause as everyone tastes and looks out at the skyline. I still think about that view over Greenwich, honestly. And yeah, I probably took too many photos through the window reflections.
What’s included
Your day includes pickup for easy arrival, all entry fees and taxes covered up front, bottled water at your table alongside coffee or tea after your meal, plus a four-course lunch crafted by experienced chefs — with optional pre-ordered wine pairings served at each course if you choose.
