The experience
The centre opens across eight distinct zones, each built around a different way to play with LEGO. MINILAND is an interactive city where airships swoop and towers glow as the landscape shifts from day to night. The LEGO 4D Cinema adds rain, wind and snow effects to a 3D film. Kingdom Quest puts you on a chariot ride where you zap trolls and skeletons to rescue a captured princess. Merlin's Apprentice is a pedal-powered ride where you help a wizard conjure magic by pedalling as fast as you can. The LEGO Racers Build & Test zone has thousands of bricks waiting for you to design and build a racing car, then time it on a speed track measured to the hundredth of a second.
Younger builders have their own spaces: the LEGO DUPLO Farm lets small children build with oversized soft bricks and play in a barn setting, while LEGO City Builder is a newer zone where you help construct an entire miniature city from scratch, meeting LEGO City characters along the way. The Creative Workshop runs regular sessions where a Master Model Builder shares building tips and tricks. A 4D cinema experience with Ninjago characters rounds out the attractions. Admission covers access to all zones. Food, drinks and parking are separate.
The venue is wheelchair accessible and suitable for all fitness levels. Children under three don't need a ticket. Adults must be accompanied by a child to enter (except at adult-only evening events). Prams and strollers are welcome, and service animals are allowed. Public transport options are available nearby if you're not driving.
