The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization is the only museum in Egypt that walks you through all the major historical periods in sequence: predynastic and ancient Egyptian, then Greco-Roman, Coptic, Islamic and contemporary. The newly added Mummies Hall is the centerpiece: a dedicated space for royal mummies that arrived here after their ceremonial transfer from the Egyptian Museum. Your guide handles the narrative across these periods so the connections between them become clear instead of staying scattered across separate rooms.

The 90-minute tour moves through the galleries at a pace that lets you stand in front of the objects instead of rushing past them. Your guide speaks English, Spanish, French or German: whichever you request when you book. The museum sits in Old Cairo, and pickup from your hotel is included, so you do not arrange the transport yourself. The building is fully wheelchair accessible, and families with infants can bring a pram or stroller through all areas.

Museum entry is not included in the tour price and must be purchased separately at the door or in advance. The tour itself covers the guide and the vehicle. Everything else (meals, gratuities, any additional sites) stays outside the package.
