You're picked up at 5:30 am from your Sharm El Sheikh hotel and driven to the airport for an 8:30 am flight to Cairo. The flight lands at 9:30 am, and your guide meets you with a nameplate — then it's straight into a private air-conditioned vehicle heading for the Egyptian Museum. The museum holds over 250,000 artifacts across 5,000 years, but the real draw is the Tutankhamun collection: gold, jewelry, and treasures that sat sealed in his tomb for 3,500 years before excavation in the 1920s.
