The experience

The day starts with pickup at your hotel at 7 a.m., breakfast at 7:10, and transport to Baltra port by 7:30. You'll meet your instructor at the port and take a group photo before heading out. At 9 a.m. you descend at Seymour Norte to 14 meters, where the dive lasts 30 to 40 minutes. The reef here holds hammerhead sharks, sea turtles, and dense schools of colorful fish: what you see depends on the season and the current, but the site is known for both abundance and size. Back on the yacht by 10 a.m., you'll have snacks while the crew prepares the next stop.

At 11 a.m. you move to Mosquera Island for snorkeling with your instructor, a session that runs about 75 minutes. Lunch follows on the yacht at 12:30 p.m. By 1 p.m. the group stops at the edge of Seymour Norte Island to observe blue-footed birds on land: a short, dry-off moment before the return to Baltra port at 2 p.m. Your driver waits to take you back to your hotel. All scuba equipment is provided, and the guides have over 10 years of experience leading divers in these waters.
