The experience

The catamaran leaves from Sosúa Beach after your driver picks you up from your hotel or cruise port: a scenic 35 to 45 minute drive along the north coast. Once aboard, you sail toward the first snorkeling reef, a 20 to 25 minute cruise through Sosúa Bay where the water stays clear and the cliffs rise above the shoreline. You get snorkeling gear included, so you drop in and explore the reef at your own pace. The crew stays nearby. After you climb back on board, there's an open bar with cocktails and light snacks while the catamaran motors to a calm bay for swimming and floating.

The timing is yours to set: morning, afternoon or sunset departures all work the same way. A BBQ meal comes out once everyone's ready, and the music and dancing keep going as long as you want. The whole experience runs three to four hours from start to finish. When you're done, your driver meets you back at Sosúa Beach and takes you back to where you started.
