Puerto Plata Airport Transfer: Hotel Pickup, Up to 15 Passengers

Get to Puerto Plata Airport without coordinating a ride

A private one-way transfer picks you up at your hotel and drives you directly to Puerto Plata International Airport in an air-conditioned minivan. The service operates 24 hours daily and accommodates groups up to 15 passengers in a single vehicle. Your driver is confirmed within 24 hours of booking, and you'll receive a voucher to present upon pickup.

The experience

How does this work? You book the transfer for your hotel location (whether that's Puerto Plata, Sosua, Cabarete, Samana, Punta Cana, Santo Domingo or one of the other pickup zones), and the operator confirms your reservation within 24 hours. You'll get a travel voucher to hand to the driver when he arrives at your hotel. The minivan is air-conditioned, and the driver knows the route to the airport, so you're not navigating or timing the journey yourself.

The transfer is priced per vehicle, not per person, which means a family or group of up to 15 passengers books one minivan and one fare. The service runs around the clock, so whether your flight leaves at dawn or midnight, a pickup slot is available. One thing to confirm at booking: your hotel's exact location and your flight time. The operator needs both to lock in your reservation and make sure the driver can find you.

Centrally located hotels in the specified pickup zones are included. If your accommodation sits outside the main area you select, an additional fee may apply. It's worth double-checking your hotel's address against the zones listed at checkout to avoid surprises on the day of travel.

Top questions

Which hotel areas can I book a pickup from?

Puerto Plata, Sosua, Cabarete, Rio San Juan, Santiago, Samana, Las Terrenas, El Portillo, Las Galeras, Santo Domingo city, Boca Chica, Juan Dolio, La Romana, Bayahibe and Punta Cana all have pickup zones. Centrally located hotels in your selected zone are included. Hotels outside the main area may incur an extra fee.

What time can I book a transfer for?

The service operates 24 hours, seven days a week, so you can arrange a pickup at any hour to match your flight departure time.

How many people can travel in one booking?

One minivan accommodates up to 15 passengers, and the price is per vehicle, so a group books a single transfer regardless of size within that limit.

When will I know my driver is confirmed?

The operator confirms your transfer within 24 hours of booking and provides a travel voucher you present to the driver at your hotel.

What should I tell the operator when I book?

Provide your complete hotel name and address, your pickup zone, and your flight departure time. The operator needs this information to confirm your reservation and ensure the driver arrives on time.
