The Experience
The tour starts with an ATV ride to Naranjal, where a family-run farm sits in the hills above Nosara. Multiple stops along the way let you step out and look down over the mountains and beaches — the views are the draw, and the operator builds the route around them. Once you reach the farm, the guide introduces you to the family and takes you on foot through the planted areas: coffee plants, orange trees, and other fruit and vegetable crops growing in the same soil where your lunch will come from.
After the hike, you sit down to a farm-to-table meal made almost exclusively with food harvested on-site. This is not a restaurant meal brought in; it is built from what grows there. The four-hour total includes the ride, the walking, the introduction to the farm, and the time to eat without rushing. You'll need to be at least 16 years old and comfortable on an ATV; the guide speaks English or Spanish and can adjust the pace if the group needs it.
