Step-by-step itinerary
Explore Manuel Antonio National Park
- Visit one of the most beautiful beaches
- Enjoy beach rated top 12 worldwide
The experience
Manuel Antonio National Park sits just miles from the town of Quepos, so you get rainforest and ocean without the remote trek. The park draws 300,000 visitors a year for the wildlife (monkeys, sloths, tropical birds), and the beaches that Forbes ranked among the world's top twelve. The tour takes four hours and covers two of those beaches on foot, with a guide who knows where the animals are and speaks English or Spanish. Bring sun protection, comfortable shoes and water. The park is small but the walking is real.
Local transportation from Quepos and the Manuel Antonio area is included, so you don't arrange your own way in. The guide photographs the animals you see, and those photos go with you. The park is wheelchair accessible, and strollers work on the main routes. Children from age one are welcome, and service animals can come along. Public transportation options are nearby if you want to explore beyond the tour.
What’s included

Is this one for you?The tour is shared and guide-led, so you walk at the group's pace and rely on the guide to spot wildlife and explain what you're seeing. This works well if you want the knowledge of someone who knows the park rather than exploring on your own, and if you'd rather not navigate the route or drive yourself.
