Medellin Provence Spa: Themed Massage & Water Therapy
Move through water therapy stages, then into deep relaxation in a themed cubicle built for escape.
Medellin Provence Spa is a themed massage and water therapy experience in Colombia's finest wellness spa, where you move through a water circuit of ten stages—footbath, bubble volcanoes, waterfall, thermal shock wells, sauna, hammam and mud mask—then receive a deep relaxation massage in one of five themed cubicles: Crystal Cave, Temazcal, Rain Forest, Romance in Venice or Herbal. The experience runs roughly three hours and includes all fees and taxes; a complimentary body exfoliation and collagen veil are added when you book now. Children from age 5 are welcome, and guides speak English or Spanish.
The Experience
The water circuit is the foundation. You start with foot reflexology in the footbath, then move through five bubble volcanoes, a Bali waterfall, swan neck canyons, and a bubble bed. The flotarium comes next—a float tank where buoyancy does the work—followed by thermal shock wells that alternate hot and cold to wake the nervous system. A Finnish sauna and hammam (Turkish-style bath) follow, with a mineral-rich mud mask to close the water stages. Each step is designed to draw out the stress and fatigue that accumulates in daily life, using water's own healing properties to ease the tension that settles in muscles and joints.
After the water circuit, you move to the massage. The therapist works in one of five themed cubicles, each built to transport you somewhere else: the Crystal Cave, the Temazcal (an ancient sweat lodge from the Yucatan), the Rain Forest (which sends your mind to the Amazon), Romance in Venice, or the Herbal room. The deep relaxation massage happens in whichever setting you choose, so the environment itself becomes part of the unwinding. The combination of water therapy followed by massage in a space designed for escape is what sets this spa apart from a standard treatment.
The spa is in Medellin and accessible by public transportation. Infants can attend if held by an adult, and the experience suits all fitness levels. Guides are available in English and Spanish, so language is not a barrier to booking. When you reserve now, a body exfoliation and collagen veil are included at no extra cost.
