The experience
Meet your guide at the hotel lobby at 9am and drive to Yandang Mountain, a 450-square-meter geopark formed 120 million years ago as a rhyolite volcano. The day splits into three two-hour segments: Lingfeng, where mountain peaks resemble scissors; Lingyan, with its own rock formations; and the Dragon waterfall, the longest in China. Between these stops you walk the glass bridge suspended in the mountain landscape. The guide handles the route and timing while you move at a pace that suits most fitness levels. The operator notes it is easy walking, so families with children and older travelers join regularly.
After sunset, the guide takes you back to Lingfeng for a one-hour night view of the mountain. The landscape transforms under artificial lighting, and the experience of the same terrain in darkness is what makes the full day-and-night structure worth the length. You return to your hotel in Wenzhou when the night tour ends. Bring comfortable walking shoes. The operator provides one bottle of water during the day.
