Gankeng Ancient Town is a Hakka village with connected houses and narrow alleys that date back to the Ming and Qing dynasties. The Nanxiang Tower has stood for over 120 years and the Zhuangyuan Mansion was built during the Yongzheng period. Dongmen Old Street is Shenzhen's oldest commercial district and still runs as a pedestrian shopping street with bronze bells that ring at dawn and dusk. Happy Coast sits on the waterfront between theme parks and Binhai Avenue, mixing retail, restaurants, entertainment and a wetland park. Dinner here is at your choice of venue.
