The experience

The tour starts at 5 pm with pickup from your hotel lobby. Your guide and driver take you to the Music Fountain, located under the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, where you watch a music and light show that runs about 20 minutes. From there you walk south through the North Square and South Square, moving deeper into the nightlife district that comes alive after dark.

The heart of the evening is the Grand Tang Dynasty Ever Bright City, a blend of classical Tang architecture (618–907 AD) and contemporary lighting design. A large statuary landscape avenue runs through the center with nine groups of theme sculptures, each one set against a modernized waterscape and light system that tells the story of the Tang Dynasty. You'll see performances staged throughout the complex and have the chance to participate in them. Everything is built in Tang Dynasty style, so the whole space reads as one coherent historical recreation rather than scattered monuments.

After exploring the lit grounds and watching the performances, your guide returns you to your hotel. The three-hour window covers the Music Fountain show, the walk through both squares, and time to move through the Ever Bright City without rushing.
