The experience

The 2-hour drive to Mount Hua passes through country views. Once you arrive, your driver shows you where to buy tickets and waits while you spend the day on the mountain at your own pace.

If you choose the guide option at booking, an English speaker joins you for the day and walks through the attractions with you, explaining the histories and stories along the way. Without a guide, you navigate Mount Hua independently. Either way, your driver returns you to your Xi'an hotel when you're ready. The driver speaks Chinese and knows the route and your hotel. If you need translation help during the ride, you can use your phone to call a translator.
