Chimelong Wildlife World is a 2,000-acre wildlife park in Guangzhou home to more than 10 giant pandas (including the world's only surviving panda triplets), seven generations of over 60 koalas, and more than 20,000 rare animals across 500 species. The park opened in 1997 as China's first private wildlife theme park and holds the world's largest animal population. The Experience

Chimelong Wildlife World spans more than 2,000 acres of subtropical rainforest within Guangzhou's Chimelong Tourism Resort, a national 5A scenic spot. The park holds animals found nowhere else together: the giant panda triplets Meng Meng, Shuai Shuai, and Cool are the only surviving set of their kind in the world, and the koala population—seven generations, more than 60 animals—is the largest outside Australia. You'll also encounter Malaysia's national treasure yellow orangutan, Thailand's national treasure Asian elephant, Honduras's national treasure aardvark, and hundreds of other species across the grounds.

The park is wheelchair accessible and suitable for all fitness levels, so you can move through it at your own pace. Infants and small children can ride in a pram or stroller, and public transportation options are available nearby if you prefer not to drive. The 6-hour window gives you time to see the major animal populations without rushing, though the scale of the park means you'll choose which sections to prioritize.
