You meet your English-speaking host at Hong Xing Bridge station at 6pm and travel by local tuk-tuk through Chengdu's old neighbourhoods to vendor stalls and family-run restaurants where residents actually eat. The tour moves from stop to stop on foot and by tuk-tuk, so you are not sitting in one place — you are moving through the streets the way the city does after dark.

The food stops are fixed but the experience is not. Your host can adjust spice levels, swap dishes if something does not appeal, and pace the evening around your group's appetite and energy.
