The experience

You get picked up from your Guangzhou or Zhuhai hotel at a time you set, then ride in an air-conditioned vehicle with a professional driver for the full eight hours. The driver knows Zhuhai and can take you to the places you want to visit, whether that's Chimelong Ocean Park, the Wanzhai seafood market, New Yuanming Palace, Lover's Road, or the Fish Girl Statue. You move at your own pace through each stop. The driver waits and takes you to the next one. If you need clarification about a site or have questions during the day, an English-speaking assistant is available by phone.

Lunch is a choice you make: the driver can take you to the Wanzhai seafood market area, where you pick a restaurant and eat while exploring the street. In the afternoon, you decide which remaining sites fit the time left: some travelers visit two or three, others focus on one. The eight-hour window is fixed, so plan accordingly. If you need more time, additional hours cost USD 10 per hour. At the end of the day, you're dropped at whichever hotel you choose: your Guangzhou base or your Zhuhai accommodation.

Entrance fees, meals and any tolls outside Zhuhai city are separate costs. Driving beyond 100 kilometers from the pickup point incurs an additional charge of USD 1 per kilometer. If your hotel is in Macau, you'll need to meet the driver on the Zhuhai side of the border.
