Step-by-step itinerary
Vineyard tour and wine tasting

- Enter the vineyard
- Walk among grape trees
- Visit original cellars since 1887
- Taste 3 glasses of wine
- Taste 4 premium wines
- Receive a free glass of wine
The Experience
The minivan picks you up at your hotel and drives into the Maipo Valley, where Cousiño Macul sits in the middle of Santiago's wine country. You walk through the vineyard rows themselves, seeing how the grapes grow, then move into the original cellars — the same stone buildings the winery has used since 1887. A guide who speaks your language walks you through both spaces and explains what you're standing in front of.
The tasting happens in the cellar. You start with three house wines, then move to four premium selections, tasting each one as the guide talks through what makes them different. That's seven glasses total. At the end, you get a complimentary glass of wine to take back with you — not to drink on the spot, but to keep. Bottled water is included throughout.
The whole experience runs 1 hour 45 minutes from start to finish. The minivan is private, air-conditioned and clean. You return to your hotel at the end. Departures are at 10:00 am or 2:30 pm; ask about which time works for your schedule when you book.
