The Experience

The tour starts with a cider tasting and a walk through the vineyard, where the guide explains the estate's history and the varieties growing on site. From there you move into the winery itself to sample three wines—a crisp white, a summery rosé, and an award-winning red—learning how each one is made from grape to glass. The guide talks through the grape varieties and the winemaking process as you taste, so you understand what you're drinking.

Next is the bottling room, where you taste the estate's Branchage Prestige Sparkling Dry Méthode Traditionnelle Fine Cider, then the distillery. There you see the authentic Alembic Charentais Cognac still where all the spirits are made, and you taste the Jersey Cream Liqueur served in chocolate toasting cups. The tour also takes you through the chocolate kitchen and food production areas, where you sample homemade chocolate, fudge, and the estate's famous Jersey Black Butter.

Children are welcome throughout. Under-10s go free and receive an apple juice, activity pack and a treat; older children get an apple juice and treat. The whole experience is wheelchair accessible, and service animals are allowed.
