Step-by-step itinerary
Evening horse-drawn sleigh ride
- Meet storyteller and musician
- Board sleigh and get cozy
- Ride through fields and forest
- Listen to folk songs and legends
- Enjoy warm hot chocolate
The experience
The ride starts as you board the sleigh and settle under warm blankets pulled by two Percheron horses. A storyteller and musician greet you and travel alongside, sharing Québecois folk songs and legends of Mont-Tremblant throughout the 50-minute journey. You'll pass along field trails with jingle bells ringing, then head into the forest where the landscape opens up. The experience is designed so everyone from young children to older adults can enjoy it comfortably.
Hot chocolate is served during the ride, and if you visit from mid-February onward, you get to taste maple candy and maple syrup products made locally. The sleigh operates whether there is snow or not: on wheels when conditions don't allow for snow travel. Departures after 3 p.m. take place in darkness under the stars, which adds a different character to the forest passage. The whole experience sits just 2 minutes from Tremblant resort, so there's minimal travel time to reach the starting point.
