The experience
The tour runs five hours and covers Toronto's most photographed landmarks without the crowded-bus experience. You travel in a private Mercedes with a professional guide who knows the city's stories and can adjust the pace to what interests you. The CN Tower is the centerpiece: you ride a high-speed glass elevator to the LookOut Level 342 meters above the ground, walk across the Glass Floor if you want the thrill, or step onto the Outdoor SkyTerrace for fresh air and unobstructed views of the skyline and Lake Ontario. Optional upgrades to the SkyPod or EdgeWalk (seasonal) are available if you want to go higher or push further.
The rest of the day moves through the city's character. St. Lawrence Market is a working food market where you can browse local vendors and artisanal goods: closed Sundays and Mondays, so the itinerary swaps in the Distillery District on those days. Nathan Phillips Square gives you the famous Toronto sign for photos, surrounded by the historic architecture of the civic center. You drive past the University of Toronto's Gothic Revival campus and through Yonge-Dundas Square, Toronto's version of Times Square, alive with digital billboards and street energy. A scenic boat cruise along the waterfront follows, with unobstructed views of the skyline and the Toronto Islands, or Casa Loma replaces this in off-season. The route ends at Old City Hall, a 19th-century Romanesque building that photographs beautifully from the street.
Pickup is included, and bottled water travels with you. The vehicle is wheelchair accessible if you can transfer in with help, and the folded wheelchair stows in the back. Infants and small children can ride in a pram or stroller. The guide speaks English, Spanish, French or German depending on your choice at booking.

Top questions
What languages is the tour guided in?
Live guide in English, Spanish, French and German.
What happens if it rains?
It may be canceled due to bad weather. If that happens, you're offered another date or a refund. Free cancellation up to 24 h before the start.
What's the CN Tower Glass Floor actually like when you step on it?
The Glass Floor is a transparent section of the LookOut Level 342 meters up, so you stand directly over the city below with nothing between you and the view. It's optional. You can skip it and stay on the regular observation deck if heights aren't your thing, or step out onto the Outdoor SkyTerrace for fresh air instead.
Is St. Lawrence Market open every day the tour runs?
St. Lawrence Market closes Sundays and Mondays, so the tour substitutes the Distillery District on those days: a historic neighborhood with galleries, shops and restaurants in restored Victorian-era buildings.
Can I get lunch at St. Lawrence Market during the tour?
Yes. The market is full of food vendors and prepared foods, so you can grab lunch, snacks or coffee while you browse. The tour is paced to give you time to eat and shop there.
How much time do you spend at each stop?
The guide adjusts the time at each landmark based on what interests you. That's the advantage of a private tour. The CN Tower typically takes the longest, and the market and waterfront cruise each get meaningful time. The five-hour total is built around moving through all the stops without rushing.
Does the boat cruise run year-round?
The waterfront cruise is the standard itinerary, but it's replaced by Casa Loma in off-season when weather or water conditions make it impractical. Your guide will confirm which version runs on your date.
