The experience
Niagara Falls itself is the centerpiece: your guide will explain the site at the main viewpoints, handle photos and videos, then leave you free to explore on your own pace. Walk the Niagara River bank, shop, or eat at one of the restaurants nearby. (Admission to attractions, meals and souvenirs cost extra.) The drive along Niagara Parkway follows the Canada-US border and passes through stops including the birthplace of the falls, the Living Water Wayside Chapel, and Queen's Royal Park, which overlooks Lake Ontario and historic Fort Niagara across the water in New York.
Niagara-on-the-Lake rounds out the day: the Heritage District on the main street holds historic buildings, art galleries, boutiques, antique dealers, cafes, breweries and wine shops, plus the Shaw Festival Theatre. The tour is built for your group alone: no crowds, no fixed script. You tell the operator what interests you, and the itinerary shifts to match.
Is this one for you?The guide speaks Spanish throughout, so this tour works best for Spanish-speaking groups or travelers who want to practice the language during the day. If your group includes children between one and seven years old, let the operator know: car seats are required by law and available on request.
