The experience
The day starts early and runs until evening, with transport to and from the fishing sites included. You travel in a van or trailer to reach exclusive waters that are not open to the public, then spend the day moving between spots where the guide knows the conditions and the fish. The guide handles the logistics of getting you to the water and back. Your job is to fish, photograph, and learn.
Instruction runs parallel to the action. The guide offers personalized tips on casting, reading the water, and handling fish with care before release. At the same time, you get coaching on wildlife and landscape photography (framing, light, technique), so you can capture what you see. Free time built into the day lets you explore on your own, photograph at your own pace, and sit with the landscape without the group moving on. Drinks and light snacks are provided throughout.
The group stays small, between two and four people, so the guide can tailor advice to your level and the pace stays comfortable. A professional photograph from the session goes home with you as a souvenir. A first aid kit travels with the group, and the guide is trained in safety. The activity is physically demanding and requires a high level of fitness.
