The Krushuna Waterfalls are Bulgaria's largest travertine cascade, split into a main waterfall about 20 meters high and several smaller ones that drop down soft limestone rocks. A path with steps and bridges runs up the river, letting you walk alongside the water, cross the mossy rocks and reach the spring hidden in a cave at the top. After the waterfalls, you move to Devetashka cave, a karst cave near the same area. Unlike most caves, this one is well-lit and its floor is covered in lush greenery, especially in spring and summer, so it feels less like being underground and more like walking through a garden that happens to have a roof of rock. You'll have free time for lunch after exploring both sites.
