Sofia Airport Transfer: Private Car & Hotel Pickup

Land in Sofia, Skip the Taxi Queue

You're met at Sofia Airport arrivals by name, driven to your hotel in a private car with water and Wi-Fi included, and the price is locked in before you land. No haggling, no waiting for a shared shuttle, no uncertainty about how you'll get into the city. The driver can also point you toward good restaurants or help with reservations if you ask when booking.

The experience

You step out of the arrivals hall at Sofia Airport and your driver is already there: tablet in hand with your name on it, waiting by the meeting point. No hunting for a taxi rank, no negotiating a fare at the curb. The transfer from Sofia Airport to your hotel is already arranged, paid, and tracked. A modern car pulls up, the driver loads your luggage, and you're moving toward the city within minutes.

The car comes with bottled water, free 4G Wi-Fi so you can message ahead or check your hotel details, and a driver who knows Sofia well enough to answer questions about where to eat or what's worth seeing. If you want something specific (a particular wine or drink waiting in the car, restaurant recommendations, or help with a booking), you send that request when you book, and it's there when you arrive. No surprises, no scrambling. The driver uses GPS tracking, so your hotel knows roughly when you'll land and can have your room ready if early check-in is possible.

The one thing to know: you get one suitcase and one carry-on bag per person. Oversized luggage like surfboards or bikes needs to be flagged when you book so the operator can confirm it fits. Children travel free as long as an adult is with them, and you need to be at least 18 to book. The transfer works whether you're heading to a hotel in central Sofia or further out. Just pick your destination when you reserve.

Top questions

What languages is the tour guided in?

Live guide in English and Russian.

What happens if my flight is delayed?

The driver monitors your flight in real time using GPS tracking, so delays are accounted for. You're not charged extra if you arrive late.

Can I book a return transfer too?

Yes. You can arrange a separate transfer back to the airport for your departure. Book it as a second transfer when you reserve your arrival ride.

What if I have more luggage than one suitcase and carry-on?

Oversized or extra luggage needs approval before booking. Contact the operator with details of what you're bringing and they'll confirm if it fits in the car.

Can the driver help with hotel recommendations?

Yes. The driver knows Sofia and can suggest restaurants, cafes, and sights. You can also ask for specific help, like restaurant reservations, when you book the transfer.

Do children need their own seat?

Children must be accompanied by an adult. Confirm any child safety seat requirements when you book, as these may vary by age.
