The experience

The safari starts from Sunny Beach and covers four hours of driving and activities across the coast. A stop at the TV tower panorama gives you a vantage point to photograph Sunny Beach and Nessebar spread below, then you move on to observe the Kalina sand dunes through binoculars: a habitat for protected animal species the guide will point out. The route passes Action Aquapark and Sunny Beach Luna Park as you travel between the towns.

The hands-on part of the day centers on three activities. You'll hunt for GPS-marked locations using handheld devices, shoot at targets with provided equipment, and then wade into a river with special pans to sift for gold in the sediment. These are the moments that break up the driving and give you something physical to do rather than just watch from the jeep. Lunch is served during the tour.
