This is your chance to try indoor skydiving in Brussels’ tallest wind tunnel—two real flights with expert guidance, all gear provided, plus a pro demonstration at the end. Feel the rush of free fall without jumping from a plane and leave with your own flight diploma as proof you did it.
“Lean forward, arms out!” That’s what our instructor called out as I shuffled toward the roaring wind tunnel, heart racing. The suit felt snug but not too tight, and the helmet muffled the outside noise—except for that deep whoosh of air spinning inside the 17-meter-high chamber. I caught a glimpse of another flyer grinning through their goggles just before it was my turn to step in.
The briefing was quick but clear, with our guide showing us simple hand signals and how to hold our bodies mid-air. Honestly, I was surprised by how much lift you get right away—one second you’re standing on the mesh floor, next you’re floating like you’ve jumped from a plane at 4,000 meters. The air pushed against my cheeks and made my arms tingle. Between flights, we swapped nervous laughs with a family from Antwerp who were just as new to this as I was.
After both flights, we got to watch our instructor show off some wild moves—spins, flips, even hovering upside down for a moment. It was hard not to clap along with everyone else watching from behind the glass. Before leaving, they handed me a diploma with my name on it—a small thing, but it made me feel like I’d really done something special here in Belgium’s tallest wind tunnel.
Yes, first-time flyers get full instruction and are supervised by trained guides throughout both flights. Safety gear is provided and staff are always nearby.
The indoor skydiving session lasts about one and a half hours from arrival to finish—including briefing, gearing up, flying time, and the demonstration.
You don’t need to bring anything special—suit, helmet, goggles, and shoes are included. Just wear comfortable clothes underneath and bring some excitement!
The facility is wheelchair accessible throughout and staff can assist if needed. However, it’s not recommended for pregnant travelers or those with shoulder problems.
Your session covers everything: expert instruction before you fly so you know exactly what to do; all your flight gear including suit, helmet, goggles, and shoes; plus two full flights inside Europe’s highest wind tunnel. And when it’s over you’ll get to watch an instructor demonstration and take home your own flight diploma as a keepsake.
