The experience

The boat departs Nassau Harbor and passes Paradise Island and the famous Gilligan's Island from the TV show before reaching the snorkeling site at Green Cay. You'll snorkel around a healthy reef in turtle-filled waters with all equipment provided. The crew brings soft drinks, water and a snack onboard so you don't need to arrange food for the morning.

After snorkeling, the boat takes you to Rose Island, where you have time on the white sandy beach. Two Bahamian restaurants operate on the island if you want lunch or drinks beyond what's included. The 28-foot open-hull vessel has twin 250hp motors and carries either a small private group or a larger shared group depending on which option you book.

Fishing is available on the same trip if you want to try light-tackle fishing around the reefs instead of (or alongside) snorkeling. All bait, tackle and snorkeling gear are provided. Swimming with the pigs is offered as a separate activity for $35 per person, arranged directly with the operator when you arrive.
