The experience

You arrive at the boat and Captain Chris takes the helm of a 28-foot Regulator FS Center Console powered by twin 300 HP Yamaha outboards. The boat cruises at up to 30 knots, so the islands and reefs around Rose Island are within reach in minutes. Before departure, you'll choose three activities from a menu: snorkel a coral reef full of tropical fish, swim with sea turtles in open water, spend time at a beach bar with food and drinks, unwind on a private beach with turquoise shallows, or add the swimming pigs encounter (paid separately at the location). The captain knows the conditions and will shape the route around what you've picked and what the weather allows that day.

Snorkeling equipment is provided, and bottled water is on board throughout. If you choose the reef, you'll enter the water where the coral and fish are. If you pick the turtles, the captain positions the boat where they're active. The private beach option means no crowds. Just your group and the sand. A beach bar stop gives you the choice to eat, drink or skip it. The swimming pigs, famous across the Bahamas, are an optional add-on you arrange directly with the location when you arrive.

The boat holds up to eight guests comfortably, though larger groups can be arranged at extra cost. The whole experience runs four hours, which gives you time to move between two or three stops without rushing.
