The experience

The day starts at Nassau Yacht Haven at 10am and heads straight for Green Cay, where you snorkel with families of wild green turtles in their own habitat. The water is shallow enough to wade to shore and walk the shell-covered beaches, or stay in the water: the guide adjusts the pace to what your group wants. From there, the boat moves to the secluded beaches of Rose Island, where the real day begins: swimming, sunbathing, paddle boarding, and floating on the runway while the music plays. Snorkeling gear is built in, so you can drop back in the water whenever you want.

On the full-day charter, lunch happens at Footprints Private Beach Bar & Grill, a working beach bar on the island itself. Before heading back to Nassau, there's a final stop at one of the most pristine coral reefs for snorkeling. The guide works with your group throughout the day to spend more or less time on whichever activity clicks: beaching, snorkeling, paddle boarding, or light tackle fishing if that's the draw. Beers, bottled water and mixers are included. The boat has a bathroom, salon and bedroom open to guests.

Two boats are available: the 50ft Sun Seeker fits up to 10 guests and has bow and stern tanning pads and extra shade, while the 33ft boat holds up to 8. Both leave from Nassau Yacht Haven and return there at the end of the day.
