The pass includes a $20 credit to spend on local products, exclusive offers at participating venues, and access to the Smartvisit app with local stories, videos, insider insights and interactive maps to guide your route. Minimum age is 18. The pass is active for up to three days once you download the app and activate it with your booking code.

The experience

There's no bus, no fixed route and no rushing. You download the Smartvisit app, activate your pass with the code from your booking confirmation, and then decide where to go and how long to stay at each stop. The app gives you an interactive map, local stories and exclusive videos about each venue, so you can plan your own tasting journey through the region. Whether you pick the 3-tasting or 5-tasting option, you'll have a $20 credit waiting to spend on wine, gin, beer, food or whatever catches your eye at the producers you visit.

Your pass unlocks wine tastings, sweet and savory tastings, gin tastings, beer flights and beer paddles across the region's wineries, distilleries, breweries and artisan food makers. You also get exclusive offers at participating venues that aren't available to walk-in visitors. One standout inclusion is access to the Mittagong Mushroom Tunnel, a unique local attraction open on Sundays and Wednesdays only. The app will tell you when and how to reach it. The whole experience is designed for couples, friends and food lovers who want to explore at their own pace without the constraints of a group tour.

Download the Smartvisit app from the Apple App Store or Google Play before your visit. Once you activate your pass in the app using your booking reference code, you're ready to start tasting. The pass works for up to three days, so you can spread your tastings across a weekend or take them all in one day. It's entirely up to you.

The Tasting Pass is self-guided, so you choose when to visit each venue. Each producer has its own opening hours, which you'll find in the Smartvisit app along with their location and what they offer. The only fixed window is the Mittagong Mushroom Tunnel, which is open Sundays and Wednesdays only.

What's included in the $20 credit, and can I use it at any venue?

The $20 credit can be spent on local products at participating venues listed in your pass: wine, gin, beer, food, or whatever each producer sells. The credit is yours to use however you like across the venues you visit.

Do I need to arrange my own transport between the tastings?
