The experience

The tour runs six hours, and the group decides where to stop. You might start at a cellar door known for Cabernet, move to a smaller producer for a tasting flight, break for lunch at a winery restaurant or a brewery taproom, then finish at a venue with a view. The driver knows the region and can suggest stops, but the day is built around what you want to taste and how long you want to linger at each place. Between three and eight people fit in the vehicle, so it works for a couple looking to explore seriously or a group of friends splitting the cost.

Bottled water is provided, and the air-conditioned vehicle means you're comfortable between stops no matter how warm the day gets. You control the music during the drive.
