The experience

From there, a scenic drive takes you through Ferguson Valley to a local winery for your first tasting, then through Wellington National Park Forest to see the Wellington Dam Mural, "Reflections," one of the biggest dam murals around. A coffee stop at the kiosk by the dam breaks up the drive.
The tasting portion runs across three cellar doors and a brewery, each pouring award-winning locally made wines, beers or ciders. Harvey Cheese is the final stop before lunch. You'll try their range including OMG and cultured butter, and can visit the gift shop where Nala and Pumba, the resident camels, live. Lunch itself is a grazing spread served on the deck with picturesque views. The tour wraps with a stop for crafted beer or coffee and cake.
