Pos Chiquito sits on Aruba's sheltered south coast, and the reef here stays close enough to reach by kayak. You start at Mangle Halto beach in the Savaneta area, where the guide outfits you with snorkeling gear and a paddle. The first leg takes you across turquoise water to a coral reef protecting the bay. You drop anchor, slip into the water, and spend about 30 minutes watching the reef. Back in the kayak, you paddle along the mangrove shoreline of Spanish Lagoon (the trees grow right down to the water), then return to Mangle Halto for a second snorkel from the shore, another 30 minutes in the coral.

Everything you need travels with you: kayak, paddles, snorkel mask, fins and snorkel. The guide navigates the route and points out what lives in the reef.
