Aruba Sunset Pirate Sail with Open Bar: Rope Swing & Cocktails
The rope swing plunges you straight into the ocean from the ship's bow.
A two-hour sunset sail on a pirate-themed schooner in Aruba's turquoise waters, with unlimited cocktails from the open bar and access to a rope swing that drops into the Caribbean. You board at MooMba Beach, relax on teak decks or cushioned seating, and watch the western coast light up as the sun sets. The crew circulates drinks and encourages you to test the rope swing or sprawl in the bow sprit netting—a shared tour with live guides in five languages.

The Experience
Two hours is all you need to sail Aruba's western coast as the sun descends. You board the large pirate schooner at MooMba Beach and settle onto the teak decks or into the cushioned seating beside the open bar. The crew circulates cocktails throughout the sail—no limits, no tab—while the ship cuts through turquoise water and the shoreline slides past. The sky does the real work: it shifts from blue to gold to pink as you drift, and most people have their camera ready by the time the sun touches the horizon.
The rope swing is the thing that breaks the rhythm. It hangs from the bow sprit, and you can test your nerve by climbing up and letting go into the Caribbean below. Not everyone does it—plenty of travelers stay sprawled on the teak or under the large awning—but the option is there, and the crew will cheer you on. If the swing doesn't appeal, the bow sprit netting offers a different kind of perch, or you can stay put with a drink and watch the water change color as the light changes.
The ship carries professional guides who speak English, Spanish, Portuguese, French and one additional language, so the crew can answer questions or just keep the energy light. There are two restrooms onboard. You'll need to arrange your own way to MooMba Beach—no hotel pickup is included—and the minimum drinking age is 18; children must have an adult with them.
