The experience
The tour picks you up from your Córdoba hotel at 9:00 AM or 2:30 PM and moves through the city in a single arc, starting with the Foundational Historic Center (San Martín Square, the Cathedral, and the Cabildo), then sweeping through the Civic Center where the Municipality, Palace of Justice, and Italia Square stand. You pass the Teatro Libertador and enter Nueva Córdoba, the student district, to visit the Capuchin Church before continuing through Sarmiento Park and the University City.
The route then follows the Suquía River waterfront toward Barrio Alberdi, crosses into the Colón avenue corridor past the Olympic Stadium and Botanical Garden, and ends in the elegant Barrio de Cerro de Las Rosas with its viewpoint at Native Park. If you choose the optional Jesuit Block, the tour adds the Manzana Jesuítica: a cluster of 17th-century buildings declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2000. Inside are the Compañía de Jesús church, the Nuestra Señora de Lourdes chapel, the old university principalship (now the UNC History Museum), and the traditional School of Monserrat, all remnants of Jesuit education and influence in Argentina and beyond.
The guide is a live professional in English or Spanish, and the vehicle is air-conditioned. Hotel drop-off ends the day.
