You’ll ride through Chiang Mai’s quieter corners, see real local life away from traffic, feed fish in a hidden park, and learn stories behind ancient city walls—all with a friendly guide who knows every shortcut.
Right from the start near Phae Gate, you’ll feel the city’s pulse—scooters zipping by, a street vendor grilling pork skewers just across the road. Our guide, Nok, gathered us for a quick photo under the old brick archway before we hopped on our bikes. The air was warm but not heavy; there’s always a bit of shade along these narrow lanes. We kept off the main roads, weaving through quiet back-alleys where locals still sweep their stoops in the morning.
We stopped at a small park I’d never have found alone. There was this little pond—kids tossing crumbs to fat carp while an older man played soft music on his phone nearby. Nok handed out bottled water and some sticky rice snacks (the kind wrapped in banana leaf). It felt good to just sit for a minute and watch life go by. Later, we rolled up to what’s left of Chiang Mai’s old city wall—rough stone blocks with moss growing in the cracks. Nok shared how these walls once protected everyone inside from invaders centuries ago. You can still see marks where people tried to patch up cannon holes.
Yes! As long as your child is comfortable riding a bike, they’re welcome. We mostly use calm backstreets and can provide infant seats if needed.
No need—we provide helmets (if you want one) and bottled water for everyone on the tour.
Please cover your knees and shoulders when visiting temples. A scarf or sarong works fine if you don’t want to wear long sleeves all day.
Your local guide leads the way and shares stories along each stop. Bottled water and snacks are included, plus bikes and helmets if you want one. We keep things easy—no busy roads, just relaxed cycling through Chiang Mai’s hidden spots.
