The route is fully customized for your group’s needs—just let us know what matters most to you!

Early morning in Venice feels different—there’s this soft light bouncing off the Grand Canal, and the city’s still waking up. Our photographer met us right by the columns at St. Mark’s Square, where pigeons were already circling tourists hoping for crumbs. I’d never realized how quiet it could be before the crowds roll in. The guide chatted about which corners would work best for our photos, even pointing out a little spot behind the basilica where hardly anyone goes. It smelled faintly of espresso from a nearby café—Caffè Florian, I think—and you could hear the bells echoing across the square.

We wandered over to Dorsoduro next, crossing tiny bridges and dodging locals on their way to work. Our photographer kept things relaxed—no stiff posing, just us laughing as we tried to balance on those uneven stones near Campo Santa Margherita. At one point, a gondolier called out something in Venetian dialect; our guide translated with a grin and snapped a quick candid shot while we were distracted. The whole route felt tailored for us—we got to skip spots we’d already seen and linger longer by the Rialto Bridge when the light hit just right.
