Meersburg is nestled between vineyards. Enjoy the noble plants of the region in selected beautiful places in the old town, overlooking Lake Constance or amidst vineyards. Along the way, you will hear facts and anecdotes about Lake Constance wine.

Here on Lake Constance, the vines grow predominantly on ice age weathering soils - there is nowhere else in Germany! The terroir offers ideal conditions to produce fine wines. The mild climate, Lake Constance as a heat store, the reflection of the sun's rays on the heat-loving vines and the warm blow-dry winds from the Mediterranean ensure that excellent, award-winning wines grow on Lake Constance at an altitude of sometimes more than 500 m above sea level.
