If you’re looking for something different near Prague—something that gets your heart racing and your boots dirty—this quad biking adventure is it. You’ll get expert guidance, real off-road action, and memories that stick long after you wash off the mud.
The first thing that hit me was the earthy smell—damp leaves and a bit of petrol—right as we pulled up to the base just outside Prague. There’s this low hum of engines in the background, mixed with laughter from folks already suited up. Registration was quick; I handed over my details and got fitted for a helmet, gloves, and goggles. The balaclava felt snug but honestly, it kept the chill off my ears. Overalls were hanging on a rack if you wanted extra protection—some folks grabbed them, especially after spotting the muddy puddles out back.
Our instructor, Petr, ran us through the basics—how to handle the Can-Am Outlander 650XT quad. He’s been riding these trails for years and had plenty of stories about people underestimating the hills (I made a mental note not to get cocky). Once we started up, the quad rumbled beneath me—solid and surprisingly easy to steer. We followed Petr along winding forest paths, ducking under low branches and kicking up sprays of mud when we hit open fields. At one point, I caught a whiff of wild garlic growing near a shady patch by the creek. The ride lasted about an hour but honestly, time blurred with all the adrenaline and laughs every time someone splashed through a deep puddle.
Nope! The instructor gives clear tuition before you start riding. Beginners are welcome.
